Courtney King (she/they) is a Los Angeles–based curator and arts administrator with a background in performance and public programming. They create programs and projects that support artists, encourage dialogue, and foster community engagement.
King co-founded Chlo & Co Dance, a dance company that produced live performances for local artists. They organized panels on labor, mental health, funding, gender and sexuality, and marketing, creating space for community discussion and advocacy. They also co-founded Orchyd, a menstruation app and wellness platform providing period products and access to reproductive health services.
King currently serves as President of the Board of Stance on Dance, a nonprofit dance journalism organization that amplifies underrepresented voices, and is pursuing an M.A. in Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere and a Graduate Certificate in Performance Studies at the University of Southern California. They also publish the newsletter She’s Friendly, reflecting on gender, sexuality, mental health, and everyday life.
